Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Al-Islam Specialist Hospital in the vibrant Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This full-time role will be responsible for the hospital's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and driving strategic financial decisions to support our continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and manage day-to-day financial operations of the hospital, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (Accounting, Statutory and Taxes)
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing recommendations to the management team
  • Responsible for preparation of the financial reports include consolidated management reporting, monthly closing, sales and financial reporting
  • Full set of accounting
  • Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable processes and managing cash flow
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial and management reporting
  • Experience in handling subsidiary accounts
  • Provide support to audits, pricing, costing etc.
  • In charge of budgeting and forecasting, monitoring the variance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiency
  • Mentoring and developing the finance team, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with a strong understanding of financial management principles
  • Proven track record of driving financial strategy and optimising financial operations
  • Proficient in Excel, financial software (AutoCount) and data analysis tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team
