Job summary

A European aerospace organization is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer based in Negeri Sembilan. The ideal candidate will handle AP processes, input data into the SAP FI module, and liaise with suppliers for payments. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2-3 years of experience in finance is required. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation is essential. Location: Negeri Sembilan
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday
Reporting To: Finance Director

We’re representing a European aerospace and manufacturing organization that designs and produces advanced landing, braking, and aircraft system components for global aviation partners.

Main Responsibilities
  • Handle Accounts Payable processes including invoice verification, payment preparation, and supplier reconciliation.
  • Key in data into the SAP FI module for AR, AP, and journal entries.
  • Liaise with suppliers on payment status and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and manage treasury-related reporting.
  • Prepare cash flow reports and assist with monthly closing, audits, and taxation matters.
  • Collaborate closely with Group Treasury and banks to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records and comply with company policies on safety, ethics, and environmental responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Financial or Management Accounting.
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation.
  • Familiar with SAP FI module (preferred).
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Curious and proactive in understanding business processes and financial impact.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries is an advantage.
