Job summary

A leading education technology company in Subang Jaya is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to prepare invoices, manage accounts payable, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess at least an LCCI/Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong accounting skills, time management, and the ability to work independently are essential. This is a full-time position with working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities include:

Accounts Receivables
  • Prepare sales invoice.
  • Deal with counsellors regarding outstanding which related to sales invoice.
  • Preparation of Accounts Receivables Aging & ensures Total Aging same as General Ledger.
Accounts Payable
  • Record supplier expenses/staff claims to correct accounts and cost centers by analysing invoice/expense.
  • Arrange monthly staff commission.
  • Arrange payment on a timely basis.
  • Vendor reconciliation, forecast of monthly payable for cash flow projection.
  • Preparation of Accounts Payable Aging & ensure Total Aging same as General Ledger.
Management Report
  • Prepare monthly General Ledger.
  • Assist in monthly closing /Yearly audit /Tax/related matter.
  • Prepare monthly depreciation/bank interest calculation/ withholding tax/SST report.
Others
  • Assist in Universities/Colleges/Agents/Corporate Agreement.
  • Proper filing and bookkeeping on all the documents.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.
  • Work full time at Sunway Geo Avenue, Bandar Sunway (Monday - Friday : 9am-6pm).
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidates must possess at least LCCI/Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Work experience: 3 - 5 years.
  • Desirable criteria: Able to prepare a full set of accounts.
  • Good team player, fast learner & good in time management.
  • Possess initiative and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Possess positive interpersonal communication skills and keen to learn.
  • Able to work under tight reporting deadlines and schedule to deliver timely and accurate results.
