A healthcare services provider in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Executive to oversee day-to-day accounting functions. This role requires a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and 3-4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial reporting and managing billing, collections, and cash flow projections. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and have strong teamwork skills.
1. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and general ledger.
2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in compliance with Centre policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Monitor cash flow position of the company and prepare cash flow projection on weekly basis.
5. Monitor financial performance and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
6. Manage billing, collections and reimbursement process to optimize cash flow.
7. Check the invoices and that billing is done accurately.
8. Manage financial risk and implement controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial mismanagement.
9. Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, accounting standards, and hospital policies.
10. Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
11. Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
12. Implement new technologies and tools to streamline financial operations.
13. Collaborate with department and other key personnel to gather financial information and support operational needs.

1. Minimum a bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting, or related fields is an advantage.
2. Minimum of 3 to 4 years of working experience. Healthcare experience would be an added advantage.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
6. Good communication skills in English. Any additional language would be an added advantage.
7. Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work closely with doctors, nurses, and other departments.
9. High integrity with strict adherence to confidentiality and hospital policies.
