Job summary

A financial solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to oversee financial accounting and billing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate provisions for expenditures, handle intercompany transactions, and manage cash flow. A Diploma in Accounting/Finance is essential; fresh graduates are encouraged. This role is based in Bayan Lepas, with opportunities for those with logistics or supply chain exposure.

Job description

This role will cover the following responsibilities:

• In charge of overall financial accounting & billing team
• Liaising with internal and external auditors, tax agent to ensure conformance
• To ensure accurate and timely provisions are made for monthly expenditure, accruals and accounts payable through consultation with functional heads.
• To provide financial management input or expertise for cross-functional projects as required
• To liaise with all business entities to ensure accuracy and completeness of all intercompany transactions
• Cash Management, to ensure all payments made on time and customer collection meets target.
