Job description

Driven by continuous growth, we are strengthening and expanding our Finance & Accounts Department to support the business, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve internal controls.

We are looking for a Finance Executive who is meticulous, analytical, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment. The position focuses on General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) accounts, perform monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of account balances

Prepare month-end journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other adjustments.

Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.

Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet schedules such as fixed assets, loans, inter-company balances, prepayments, accruals, and other balance sheet items and ensure alignment with GL balances.

Assist in preparing the management reporting package and other financial reports.

Perform financial analysis such as sales, gross margin, and key expense analysis.

Provide financial insights to support management decision-making, business units, and specific projects.

Support audit, tax, SST, and other regulatory compliance requirements through proper documentation and schedule preparation.

Assist in process improvements, digitalisation efforts, and workflow enhancements to increase efficiency.

Provide financial support to projects or business units when required.

Perform any ad-hoc assignments as instructed by Management

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, GL, financial reporting, or audit.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Critical thinking, good problem-solving ability, and strong organisational skills.

Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
