Provide strategic and operational leadership to Operations Finance Managers or Section Heads across manufacturing sites

Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and development plans for site finance teams

Lead monthly operational finance reviews with each site to track financial performance, risks, and improvement actions

Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among site finance teams

2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the preparation of site budgets, rolling forecasts, and 3–5-year financial plans

Review and challenge site-level assumptions including production volumes, labour, materials, overheads, and capex

Consolidate manufacturing site forecasts and budgets into Group FP&A submissions

Align operational planning with corporate financial targets and strategic priorities

3. Manufacturing Costing & Performance Analysis

Monitor site performance: actual vs. standard cost, variance analysis, labour efficiency, scrap, and utilization

Lead cost improvement and benchmarking initiatives across sites

4. Inventory Management & Valuation

Ensure accurate inventory accounting across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

Establish inventory control procedures including cycle counts, physical stocktakes, and reconciliations

Review stock aging, slow-moving and obsolete inventory risks, and propose write-downs as necessary

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and group valuation policies

5. Business Partnering with Operations

Act as a key financial advisor to Site General Managers

Support operational decision-making through scenario modeling, breakeven analysis, and sensitivity analysis

Provide financial insights to support operational excellence, capex ROI, and project feasibility

6. Month-End Closing, Reporting & Compliance

Oversee month-end closing process, ensuring accurate cut-off and accruals

Review site financials

Ensure timely submission of site results for group consolidation and reporting

Work with Shared Services Centre and Group Reporting to resolve closing and compliance issues

7. Standardization, Governance & Internal Controls

Implement group-wide finance policies, procedures, and internal controls at site level

Drive standardization of templates, SOPs, and reporting packs across sites

Support internal and external audit requirements including walkthroughs, evidence gathering, and action plans

Monitor and address control weaknesses identified at site level

8. Process Improvement & Automation

Work with Head of Centre of Excellence on continuous improvement of site-level finance processes including automation, digitization, and simplification

Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in operational finance workflows

Champion adoption of best practices and tools to enhance accuracy, visibility, and speed

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior site finance or operations finance leadership role

Strong technical knowledge in product costing, FP&A, inventory control, and operational finance

Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning tools

Proven leadership skills and experience managing multi-site finance teams

Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering capabilities
