Job Brief

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager, Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. This role requires regular travel to farm sites to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with budgetary controls.

Responsibilities, Authorities and Duties
  1. Oversee the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing of accounts.
  3. Prepare and submit all financial reports in a timely manner, including statutory and management reports.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  5. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to support audits, tax filings, and other regulatory submissions.
  6. Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial projections, and performance targets.
  7. Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and conduct variance analysis against budget/projected financial targets.
  8. Perform regular financial reviews, forecasts, and cost-revenue analyses to support informed decision-making.
  9. Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational and investment activities.
  10. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
  11. Conduct regular visits to farm sites to monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary controls.
  12. Assist with ad hoc assignments, projects, or operational matters as delegated by superiors.
Qualifications, Requirements and Skills
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification from a recognized institution.
  2. Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in statutory audits, tax matters, and financial reporting.
  3. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  5. Experience with SAP B1 is an added advantage.
  6. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with all levels of the organization.
  7. Willing and able to travel regularly to farm sites as part of job responsibilities.
