We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support the Ecommerce and Store Support Centre (SSC) in driving financial performance and strategic planning. This role requires strong financial rigor, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex budgeting and forecasting cycles across Malaysia and Brunei.

The challenge is to:

Ecommerce Business Partnering

Prepare the monthly Malaysia E-commerce P&L and lead detailed monthly reviews with the Ecommerce team.

Work with the Ecommerce team to analyze variances and movements in P&L, with the aim of improving profitability.

Manage and prepare any ad-hoc financial requirements requested by the Ecommerce team.

SSC & Regional Support

Prepare budgets and forecasts for the Store Support Centre (SSC).

Support financial analysis of the Store Support Centre for the Head of Department.

Provide inputs for monthly closing to the Accounting Services team for Malaysia and Brunei, including monthly accruals and provisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the Annual Budget and rolling forecasts for Brunei and assist on Malaysia’s budget and forecast cycles.

Support the preparation of monthly rolling forecasts and annual 2-year projections for submission to Group Finance.

Manage the submission of P&L, balance sheet, Capex, cash flow, and non-financial items in the HFM System.

Reporting & Governance

Prepare monthly management reporting to Group and internal business formats.

Collect and provide statistical data required for Group reporting.

Work with various departments to align financial plans with overall business objectives.

Do you have experience in Finance Business Partnering?

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is an advantage.

Experience: Strong financial rigor and meticulousness in managing large datasets and conducting variance analysis.

Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and PowerPoint.

Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP) is highly preferred; knowledge of HFM is a plus.

Communication: Excellent command of English with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

Attributes: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines, especially during month-end or budget cycles.

Collaboration: A proactive team player capable of managing diverse stakeholders across various departments.
