Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the transactions of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger comply with standards.
  • Perform monthly closing of accounts, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Prepare various financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Conduct internal checks on inventory management compliance.
  • Analyze operational costs against the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Communicate with departments regarding issues and improvements.
  • Prepare audit and tax schedules and assist in audits.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and practices.
  • Prepare ad-hoc tasks and reports as required.

Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the transactions of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and general ledger (GL) functions comply with proper accounting policies and procedures, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Perform monthly closing of accounts together with the teams and ensure meet to the closing timeline.
  3. Prepare financial reports including AR aging & statements, AP reconciliations, bank reconciliations, royalty fee, group’s claims and consolidation statements as per tasks designated.
  4. Perform internal check on inventory management system and ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Analyze and monitor monthly actual operational costs, monthly expenses with the annual budget & quarterly forecast.
  6. Communicate with all departments for the issues / problems arise, improvement, updates of system, compliance policies, and projects.
  7. Prepare audit and tax schedules as per tasks designated and assist the team on audit processes.
  8. Maintain good internal controls practice.
  9. Preparation of ad-hoc tasks & reports according to the company & group requirements.
