Job summary

A leading educational institution in Johor is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all operations, maintenance, and safety across the campus. This role involves developing strategic plans, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Candidates must possess a degree in relevant fields and have 5-8 years of experience, with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Excellent organizational abilities and strong knowledge of building systems are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years experience in a similar capacity preferably in an educational institution.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good knowledge of building maintenance, fire protection, HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all M&E equipment operations and building maintenance.
  • Plan and coordinate overall maintenance operations.
  • Establish maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Supervise service providers and improve service quality.
  • Develop facilities management budget and ensure its execution.
  • Coordinate health and safety compliance in the Kolej.
