Chief Financial Officer, Department of Finance

The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of the University. This role oversees all finance-related functions including financial reporting, accounting policies, budget administration, funds management, tax compliance and etc. The candidate is responsible to administer the preparation and submission of financial accounts to the External Auditors, Audit & Risk Committee and relevant Boards. The candidate is also expected to undertake other administrative portfolio, including insurance matters, payroll, attend to various Purchases Committees in the University and service the relevant Boards.

  • Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and must have a professional qualification and a member of MIA.
  • Candidate should have at least 20 years of related work experience and possess excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills and ability to mitigate financial risks.
  • A self-starter with strong work ethics and a team player.
