Job summary

Job description
F.A. Inspector / F.A. Officer / Assistant Engineer

Perform product First Article Inspection (FAI), Cpk studies, and trial run measurements where applicable.

Conduct machine and process capability studies (Cpk, GR&R) when required.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection results through SPC monitoring systems.

Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects and performs defect analysis reporting.

Identifies and recommends corrective measures for process problems.

Investigate root cause on the product or process failure.

Ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and communicated.

What we're looking for
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience and basic understanding of plastic injection molding processes and quality inspection methods.
  • Familiar with basic measurement instruments (e.g., coordinate measuring machine, caliper, micrometer, height gauge, smart scope, etc).
  • Knowledge of SPC, Cpk, GR&R, and FAI will be an added advantage.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T concepts.
  • Knowledge of QMS or document control
  • Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
