Job Description
  • Responsible for executing / supervising the Solar sites life cycle and related O&M services activities in order to achieve the O&M service levels, performances, availability in accordance to the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and to insure the customer satisfaction
  • To monitor, control and supervise sub-contractor's supplier's interventions and to log-in, report abnormalities, events and service activities performed on the Solar sites to his/her immediate superior
  • Responsible, with the support of his/her immediate superior, for ensuring the approved business plan, technical and financial performance of each solar sites are achieved according to the approved plans.
  • Monitor and analyze Solar PV Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring its accuracy and to ensure assets availability and are operating at optimum efficiency and are in line with approved business plan.
  • Manage, schedule / supervise O&M Service Provider service activities executed on the Solar PV sites are in accordance with
    • Operation and Maintenance Agreement (OMA) KPIs and within the related schedule
    • Compliance with the statutory and the health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements.
    • complies with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties
  • Initiate, plan and provide timely Solar PV monthly and annual energy production report for both internal and submission to the customer sites as well as the necessary reports to the relevant authorities,
    o Identify red flags / problems, respond to emergency calls, and develops corrective action plans, in liaison with the O&M Service Provider and direct superior
  • Maintain good relationship between clients, O&M Service provider, relevant authorities or with other stakeholders.
  • Perform studies for the feasibility and propose productivity, technical improvements for the Solar PV sites concerning the Solar PV performance, O&M, HSE processes, contingencies, and emergency plans
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and associated periodic meetings.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical / Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent. Certificate of competency as Chargeman or an Electrical Services Engineer or as a Competent Electrical Engineer as in the Electricity Regulations 1994 / Factory Machinery Act 1967 would be an advantage.
  • Experience over 3 years in field for the coordination and execution of Operation & Maintenance, technical services for Solar PV systems.
  • Knowledge about Solar systems design and/or operations & maintenance, Power Purchase Agreements.
  • Ability to self-use software for computer energy modeling as well as presentation: excel spreadsheets, power point presentations, project Management software and computer aided design software (i.e Autocad or etc)
