AFA Project and Management Services – Kuantan, Pahang

We are seeking an experienced Executive Traffic Management to join our team at AFA CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. in Kuantan Pahang. This is a contract position that will play a crucial role in our civil and structural engineering projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To monitor analyze and liaise with respective companies and local authorities for the third party works and commercial activities.
• Ensure and implement the Quality and Safety procedures and work instruction
• Manage the duty roster in ensuring optimum manpower allocation according to operational requirement
• Analyze the event report for further action (Accident and Insurance)
• Prepare traffic report and follow up on action taken by the various departments attending to user complaint
• Ensure the operation compliance to the Road Transport Act and regulation and the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation Act
• Control and monitor the sub contractors and commercial site activities to oblige with the traffic safety compliance.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Possess Degree in Civil Engineering with Certificate in Traffic Management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar traffic management role, preferably within the civil/structural engineering industry
• Strong understanding of traffic management principles, regulations, and best practices
• Proficient in the use of traffic management software and tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in dynamic environments
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in traffic management or civil/structural engineering
