Daily Operations

• Assist in planning and monitoring daily production activities and capacity utilization at the PDI yard.

RO & Warranty Management

• Ensure timely closure of repair orders.
• Manage warranty submissions, including parts documentation and disposal in accordance with procedures.

Efficiency & Job Control

• Monitor job boards and workflow to ensure smooth operations.
• Track manpower and job efficiency.
• Develop contingency plans to minimize operational disruptions.
• Standardize service times to improve consistency and productivity.

Quality Improvement

• Support and implement Kaizen initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and operational standards.

Waste Management

• Plan and execute waste management activities in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Tools & Equipment Maintenance

• Conduct audits of workshop tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and readiness of tools.
• Plan and recommend purchases of tools or equipment when required.

Performance & Campaign Monitoring

• Monitor overall operational performance at the PDI yard.
• Track and support implementation of service or quality campaigns.

5S Implementation

• Support and enforce 5S practices to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient PDI work environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Willing to be based at Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Yard, Sungai Tua.
