Job summary

A leading logistics company in Shah Alam, Malaysia is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist responsible for supporting effective warehouse management. This role involves overseeing supply chain activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving process improvements. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Supply Chain and around 5 years of experience, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and excellent analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

  • ~5 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably with control tower functions.
  • Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics and replenishment.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance.

Job description
Overview

The job holder will be responsible for supporting effective warehouse management and this role is also open to fresh graduates with Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics who wish to develop and grow in the Logistics & Supply Chain Industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities through the Control Tower, ensuring compliance with SOPs, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound flow of goods, including quality checks, replenishment, returns, dispatch, and timely store deliveries.
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory data, documentation, and reporting for shipments, stock transfers, imports/exports, and system updates (WMS/ERP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve exceptions, manage risks, and ensure seamless stock availability across the network.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvements, enhancing visibility, and ensuring high standards of control and compliance in daily supply chain operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field would be preferred.
  • ~5 years of experience in supply chain operations, with exposure to control tower or supply chain visibility functions.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes including inventory management, inbound/outbound logistics, and replenishment.
  • Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Retek) and data/reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to drive process improvements and ensure compliance.
