Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage production schedules based on capacity and material availability. Job description
Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the production schedule based on the production capacity and materials availability including on-time shipments to end customer.

Plans schedules for the production of BIB and driver boards and assembly.

Liaises with manufacturing site for backend test schedules of boards.

Conducts periodic meetings to review project status and recovery plan with stakeholders and subcontractors.

Generates reports on project status updates and communicates with respective departments.

Publishes performance reports - OTD (outsource) and Cycle Time (S/O to shipping).

Ensures on-time delivery of shipments and delivery reports to customers.

Reviews subcontractor loading files and broadcasting of plans and schedules to both internal and external customers.

Expedites operations for delayed/altered schedules.

Complies to legal, corporate, and quality policy requirements.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Materials Management-related / Business Studies, or equivalent.

At least 1 year related experience. Materials planning in a supply chain environment is an advantage.

Knowledgeable in planning and coordination in a manufacturing setting.

Skill sets: PC/Oracle/Microsoft Office, good in verbal and written communication, proactive, and possess interpersonal and positive attitude.
