We are seeking a visionary and innovative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Avani Kota Kinabalu Hotel. As the leader of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating exceptional desserts and pastries that delight our guests while managing a talented team of pastry professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement new dessert menus, incorporating local flavors and international trends
  • Lead and mentor a team of pastry chefs, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Participate in special events and promotions, showcasing innovative pastry creations
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the pastry team
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the pastry program
