A healthcare facility in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Marketing & Communications Executive to craft and translate impactful content in Chinese and English. The role focuses on media relations, campaign development, and market research to strengthen the brand in the Chinese-speaking market. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and 3-5 years of relevant experience. We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Marketing & Communications Executive who can craft impactful content in both Chinese and English. This role focuses on developing campaigns, managing media relations, and creating culturally relevant materials to strengthen our brand in the Chinese‑speaking market while supporting overall marketing initiatives.
Act as the champion for brand and corporate identity, ensuring consistent and effective brand positioning across all channels and platforms.
Execute branding initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining alignment with the company’s vision and messaging, with a particular focus on the Chinese‑speaking market.
Draft, design, translate, and produce marketing materials in both Chinese and English for the Marketing Unit and other departments.
Ensure all content is culturally relevant, accurately localized, and appropriate for both local and international audiences.
Propose and develop monthly marketing campaigns tailored to the Chinese‑speaking demographic, promoting the company’s brand, facilities, and services.
Collaborate with the team to execute campaigns in Chinese and English as required.
Assist the Senior Executive in recommending, planning, and executing special projects and media partnerships, with a specific focus on Chinese‑language media outlets and platforms.
Support the Marketing Communication Senior Executive in managing crisis communications, ensuring messaging is timely, accurate, and culturally sensitive to Chinese‑speaking audiences.
Initiate, coordinate, and manage internal and external events, ensuring successful execution.
Provide Chinese‑language support for events targeting Chinese‑speaking audiences when required.
Conduct ongoing research to gather market intelligence on Chinese‑speaking audiences and trends.
Recommend new services and refine communication strategies to better engage this demographic.
Lead the creation of Chinese‑language content for social media platforms, including monthly planning, post scheduling, and targeted advertising.
Regularly update and maintain Chinese‑language content on corporate websites.
Monitor performance, adjust strategies, and localize digital assets for better engagement with Chinese‑speaking audiences.
Propose and manage keyword purchases on platforms such as Google Ads, Baidu, and other channels to improve online visibility and lead generation.
Manage all digital‑related tasks, ensuring effective use of digital tools to enhance marketing efforts.
Provide data‑driven insights and analytics on the performance of Chinese‑language content to support strategic decisions.
Coordinate and execute Chinese‑language email newsletters using marketing automation tools, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and culturally relevant.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of BD & Marketing, Chief Executive Officer, or designated representatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare or medical tourism sector
Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English as the position requires to prepare content in Chinese.
Strong proficiency in translating and creating content in both languages, ensuring cultural accuracy and relevance
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
Ability to work well with teams but also independently
Well organised and able to multi‑task
Ability to follow through and execute plans
