Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work assigned is not limited to the job scope listed below, may be assigned to another function based on the workload and requirement:

• This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large datasets effectively, particularly related to EPF’s investment data
• Candidates are expected to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve report-related issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Report & Dashboard Development

• Advise users with the best practice solution for new or change request for report and dashboard development
• Consult team members in finalizing Functional Specification Documentation.
• Develop new reports and dashboards and modify current reports and dashboards based on user requirements.
• Assist users in testing new developed or modify reports and dashboards
• Deploy reports, dashboards or templates into Production region once UAT succeeds.

Report Delivery

• Implement, monitor and maintain automation of report delivery.
• Oversee current report delivery medium for any troubleshooting and possible enhancements for better experience of end user and higher efficiency in delivering reports or data.
• To monitor batch execution and report delivery status.

Report Preparation

• Extract and prepare daily, monthly and quarterly reports for management and external departments’ consumption.

Collaboration & Business Technical Consultations

• Collaborate with business leaders to identify reporting needs and develop reports.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding.
• Coordinate test planning between business users and relevant parties (e.g. vendor, consultant, IT Dept.) when required.
• Update manual operation, working instructions, automation templates, documentation and paperwork related to report development.
• Provide continuous and excellence supports for any projects/initiatives carried out by the department or organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Finance/ Mathematics/ Financial Engineering/ Business Management or other related qualifications that recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
• Having background in the field of data analytics/ data visualization and project management.
• Knowledge in programming (SQL Query, Power Pivot, Power Query Language), database management
• Knowledge in visualization tools (Power BI)
• Knowledge of financial instruments, market data, and investment operations.
• Ability to leverage technology and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business conditions or technological advancements.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
