A leading financial institution in Petaling Jaya is seeking an Executive for Human Resources focusing on Training and Development. The role involves managing training logistics, liaising with various stakeholders, and evaluating training needs. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in HR or related fields and have 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential. Hong Leong Investment Bank – Damansara, Selangor
Responsible for day-to-day training and development (T&D) matters i.e. training registration, payment, record keeping, Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDC) training grant application and submission.
Key liaison person with different parties i.e. employees, training providers, HRDC officers in relation to T&D and HRDC grant matters.
Manage business and functional stakeholders T&D activities and optimize utilization of training budget.
Update the T&D calendar, budget utilization records and HRDC training grant tracker with relevant data and input.
Coordinate the deployment/logistics of bank wide training programs.
Gather and evaluate employees T&D needs and challenges via varied approaches to define and deliver effective solutions and roadmap in meeting the Bank’s people development objectives.
Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives and events such as preparing memo and budget proposal to secure approvals and stakeholders buy‑in.
Provide T&D analytics for audit review and regulatory reporting purposes when required.
Regular review and update of T&D related policies and procedures.
Promote overall people development efficiency by synergizing T&D efforts cross‑business.
Job Requirements
Possess Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Development/ Management or any related discipline.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in training, learning and development function.
Prior experience in banking related sectors would be an added advantage.
Preferably candidate with experience in using HRDC eTris system.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Good command of written and spoken English.
Able to interact with people at all levels and work cohesively in a team with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pleasant personality, proactive, self‑motivated and able to multitask horizontally.
Fresh graduate with keen interest and relevant internship experience is welcomed to apply.
