A financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist. The role involves developing C&B strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with laws, and providing consultations on C&B practices. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in HR or related fields, have strong analytical skills, and be proficient in MS Office. This position is ideal for fresh graduates and requires good English communication skills.
Develop compensation and benefits (C&B) philosophy and framework that are aligned with the organizational strategies and business goals.
Ensure that the C&B practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements e.g. pay equity, human rights.
Coordinate C&B processes such as bonus, increment and promotion exercise planning and implementation.
Produce data based recommendations on direct financial, indirect financial and non-financial compensations via different methods.
Analyze different C&B components in the organization and prepare reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness.
Act as the first point of contact on C&B queries such as providing consultation to line managers on C&B concepts and advisory to management in taking difficult C&B decisions.
Perform job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications.
Liaise with the external compensation consulting company and participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best C&B practices in the industry.
Assist in benefits administration such as subsidy application and processing.
Assist in HR reporting to Group, Senior Management, regulators bodies i.e Security Commissions, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia and ensure all information submitted are accurate and up-to-date.
