A retail management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a finance professional to act as the primary contact for retail-related financial matters. Responsibilities include preparing consolidated retail accounts, supporting audits, and monitoring collection performance. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field, with 2 to 3 years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Strong communication skills and independence are essential for this role.
Act as the primary point of contact for retail-related financial matters.
Provide data and analysis to support internal decision-making and presentations.
Prepare the monthly/quarterly/yearly consolidated retail accounts to the management.
Participate in annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and support to the auditors.
Involved in preparing the annual retail budget
Monitor daily retail collection performance and regular updates to management through group communication channels and weekly report
Review documentation to ensure it is in order before processing payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with SOP
Ensure all revenue and expenses are taken up correctly in SAP system to reflect true business performance
Support and review monthly & yearly stock takes at retail outlets to ensure inventory accuracy and address stock irregularities
Maintain effective communication with outlets staff and finance teams to resolve any finance related issue and other operational issue
