KEY ROLES
- Identify, verify, and assess information related to corruption, abuse of power, malpractice, and breaches of the organisation’s code of conduct and ethics.
- Prepare comprehensive verification reports, including comments and recommendations to the CIGO on whether the case should be referred to the appropriate enforcement agencies.
- For internal administrative matters, ensure the report is reviewed by the CIGO and forwarded to the relevant department—such as Internal Audit or Group Human Capital—for further action.
- For criminal‑related cases, ensure that the findings and verification outcomes are reported directly to the appropriate enforcement agency.
- Review and analyse Internal Audit Reports and Investigation Reports thoroughly
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) or recognised by the Public Service Department (PSD).
- Has attended training related to integrity, auditing, or investigation.
- Possessing a Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting internal investigations.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Well‑versed in relevant standards, procedural requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Demonstrates high integrity and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills and cooperative attitude.
- Exhibits critical thinking abilities, learns quickly, and is resourceful in problem‑solving.
- Skilled in report writing and analytical assessment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills in reviewing facts and documents.
- Able to assess matters holistically with alignment to the organisation’s vision, mission, and values.
- Effective in interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative and innovative in conducting investigations.
