EXECUTIVE, CORPORATE PLANNING & STRATEGY

Group Strategy Services (GSS) is responsible for developing, tracking and implementing strategic initiatives to drive long‑term growth and success of the organization which directly supports the Company's strategic direction and business goals. The ultimate aim is to increase the market capitalization of KPJ Berhad. GSS works closely with senior leadership to identify business opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop strategic plans to achieve organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Assist in the creation, development, implementation, and monitoring of long‑term growth initiatives for strategic and business planning process across the organisation
  • a. Support the formulation, development and refinement of the company's strategic plan, setting clear goals and milestones for the entire organization & divisions.
  • b. Support Senior Leadership and Business Unit heads to define the organization/BU vision, mission and strategic priorities.
  • c. Support in strategy & value creation of business model/strategy/positioning that is aligned to the Company's strategic direction, business goals and values.
  • d. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic plans.
  • e. Monitor the strategic initiatives and milestones.
Performance Management at Enterprise Level
  • a. Involve in the management of Company Wide Scorecards or Key Performance Indicators.
  • b. Track and monitor Company Wide initiatives to identify gaps/strengths in comparison to external forces.
  • c. Management Reporting for shareholders.
Market Research and Analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities
  • a. Continuous update on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategy and corporate planning. For example: Macro & Micro landscapes, Competitive benchmarking, feasibility studies, valuation benchmarking & transaction analysis (CF), business and strategy analysis.
Support the strategic & planning of any potential new business opportunities
  • a. Work closely with the Business Development & M&A team. Analyze financial data, market research, and industry reports to evaluate the feasibility and potential impact from a strategy perspective.
Assist in preparing and presenting strategic recommendations to senior management
  • a. Include business cases, financial projections, and risk assessments.
Coordinate strategic related initiatives and Board Paper proposals/updates
  • a. Responsible for facilitating and coordinating relevant initiatives and Board Paper proposals/updates.
Assist in GSS Division for any ad‑hoc analysis, research, and progress reports as required
  • a. Provide support as needed.
Maintain good rapport with all stakeholders
