Job Description

This role provides support in the implementation of group-wide compensation and benefits programs across Sunway Group. You will support the C&B, Total Rewards Team and collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to help ensure that compensation and benefits practices are competitive, fair, and aligned with performance goals, contributing to the Group’s overall talent strategy and business objectives.

Compensation Support

Support the design and annual review of compensation frameworks, salary structures, and incentive programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

Participate in the development and refinement of increment and bonus matrices, guidelines, and pay-for-performance models.

Drive the consolidation, validation, and analysis of employee compensation data for annual salary reviews and performance bonus cycles.

Conduct compensation benchmarking and market competitiveness analysis using external survey data and analytics platforms to support salary structure updates.

Contribute to job evaluation and job architecture design, ensuring roles are correctly classified and aligned across business units.

Assist in the review and enhancement of sales incentives and other variable pay schemes based on business drivers and performance metrics.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Provide support in the preparation of compensation and benefits reports for internal analysis and management reviews.

Monitor cost trends, utilisation data, and provide insights to support program effectiveness.

Support budgeting and forecasting for compensation and benefits costs.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HRSSC and Finance teams to support compensation and benefits processes.

Serve as a key contributor to cross-functional initiatives focused on total rewards strategy, digital transformation (such as HRIS integration), and enhancing the employee experience (including wellness programs and other benefit-related events).

Support change management and communication strategies during C&B policy updates, ensuring alignment and smooth rollout across entities.

Assist in the creation of training materials and toolkits to build C&B knowledge among HR colleagues and line managers.

Policy & Compliance

Assist in the design, drafting, and review of C&B policies, guidelines, and SOPs to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance.

Stay abreast of regulatory updates and industry best practices, recommending design changes as needed.

Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Benefits Administration

Contribute to the design and structuring of employee benefit plans e.g., medical, insurance, wellness, leave to meet evolving workforce needs and optimise cost-effectiveness.

Support periodic benefits review cycles, including market comparisons, employee feedback analysis, and vendor performance evaluations.

Assist in benefits re‑design initiatives in response to employee needs, utilisation trends, or changing regulatory environments.

Collaborate with third‑party vendors and consultants on the rollout of new benefits, including platform design, enrolment processes, and service models.

Lead or support employee communication campaigns to enhance understanding and appreciation of total benefits offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are welcome!

Having 1–2 years of HR or C&B experience is a nice bonus.

Experience in staff benefits management is an added advantage.

Strong Excel skills (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables) and confidence working with large datasets.

Good analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
