Executive – Communication (Website Developer and Administration) Part-Time-80095

The Sunway Centre for Planetary Health (SCPH) at Sunway University is an independent organisation committed to advancing planetary health as a holistic and transformative paradigm that promotes the health of human civilisation and the natural systems on which it depends. Through research, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, SCPH addresses critical challenges at the intersection of human health and environmental sustainability.

As our outreach continues to gain visibility across social media and digital platforms, there is an increasing need to strengthen our digital presence through a robust, user-friendly, and engaging website. To support this effort, SCPH is seeking to hire a Website Developer who will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimising the Centre’s website. This role will ensure that SCPH’s digital platforms effectively communicate our mission, enhance accessibility, and provide a seamless experience for diverse audiences. Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SCPH’s official website to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and user‑friendly navigation.

Implement creative and technical solutions that align with SCPH’s branding and messaging.

Regularly update website content, including news, publications, events, and multimedia materials.

Optimise website performance, security, and search engine visibility (SEO).

Integrate interactive features such as forms, multimedia galleries, videos, and resource libraries to support campaigns and initiatives.

Collaborate across teams to translate communication strategies into effective web experiences.

Ensure consistency in digital identity across all online platforms.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website‑related issues.

Monitor analytics and generate reports to inform digital outreach strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, web development, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in website development.

Experience with website hosting, domain management, and server‑side configurations.

Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and web accessibility standards.

Strong portfolio showcasing website projects and digital solutions.

Knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
