Job Description

• The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist (Azure Cloud Architect) is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of EAP’s cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• This role ensures that the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with modern cloud architecture best practices.
• The specialist will work closely with various IT teams—including network, security, and application teams—to design integrated solutions and maintain operational excellence.
• The role also involves the use of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and DevOps pipelines to automate infrastructure deployment and management.

Duties

• Responsible for cloud infrastructure, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, storage infrastructure, and related services.
• Ensures that the EAP infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable to meet current and future needs.
• Works closely with Authority’s IT teams, such as network and security teams, to ensure proper integration and configuration of infrastructure.
• Prepare or review the change documents related to cloud infrastructure, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, storage infrastructure, and related services.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve EAP’s infrastructure.
• Provides support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
• Compile the monthly service dents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.

Skill Requirements

• Excellent command of spoken & written English and Mandarin is added advantage.
• Good multitasking ability.
• Excellent computer knowledge: MS Office including MS Outlook and surfing the internet for information or research.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Fast typing skills (minimum 35 words per minute).
• Preferably with contact center background.
• Project coordination and resource planning skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Speak with good pace, articulate and have clear pronunciation.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure design and cloud architecture.
• Proven experience in Azure environments including virtual networking, storage, compute, and monitoring.
• Experience with large‑scale infrastructure deployments using Terraform and DevOps pipelines.
• Azure Cloud Architect Expert.
• Degree, or an equivalent professional qualification in any principle.
