Job summary

A leading property developer is seeking a finance professional in Kuala Lumpur to prepare consolidated financial statements and lead financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, along with 1 to 3 years of experience, including group consolidation. Responsibilities include preparing quarterly reports for Bursa Malaysia and assisting with financial presentations for board meetings. Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Group consolidated financial statements in accordance with approved accounting standards (including updates under the MFRS framework).
  • Lead the preparation of Group Quarterly Financial Reports for Bursa Malaysia and ensure timely completion of Audited Financial Statements.
  • Prepare consolidated cash flow statements and support financial data submission to key stakeholders such as UEM Group and Khazanah.
  • Assist in compiling and preparing relevant financial decks for board meetings and stakeholder presentations.
  • Draft assigned notes to the accounts and coordinate directly with external auditors to ensure timely completion of the statutory audit (UEMS targets completion within 2 months of year-end).
  • Review and validate data submissions from subsidiaries to ensure completeness and accuracy for consolidation.
  • Handle any ad-hoc tasks or assignments as required by the superior.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent
  • Total 1 to 3 years of working experience with a minimum of 1 year in Group Consolidation
  • Good understanding of group consolidation of financial statements and MFRS accounting framework
  • Detail-oriented finance professionals with expertise in financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance.
