Executive Assistant to Group Managing Director

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support to the Group Managing Director of Hajris Group of Companies' in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of the Group Managing Director's office and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

Support the GMD in leading Hajris Group by enabling timely decision-making and smooth execution of initiatives.

Manage the GMD’s schedule, coordinate public relations events, and oversee key business engagements both inside and outside the office.

Prepare accurate and well-organized presentation materials, speeches, summaries, and reports for the GMD.

Facilitate clear and effective communication between the GMD and Heads of Function and business units.

Assist in monitoring the performance of operating units (SBUs) and functional departments to support operational excellence.

Help build and maintain strong relationships with industry bodies, associations, and government agencies.

Contribute to enhancing the Group’s reputation as a responsible and respected corporate citizen.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with office equipment

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement

Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
