Job summary

A leading optics company in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced equipment maintenance technician with at least 5 years of experience in Die Attach or Wire Bond environments. The candidate must possess at least a SKM level 3 certificate or Diploma qualification, have good mechanical and electrical knowledge, and be proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. This role involves maintaining machinery, supporting production, and undertaking improvement projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, especially in Die Attach or Wire Bond areas.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Back End manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and sustaining job on a variety of equipment to control downtime.
• Perform machine conversion, tool change & PM to support production.
• Support improvement projects assigned by an engineer.

Skills

Experience in DA or WB

Mechanical, sensors and electrical/electronics knowledge

Good communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia

Good Teamwork and Cross functional cooperation

Education

Responsibilities

• Experience in DA or WB
• Maintaining and sustaining job on variety equipment to control downtime.
• Perform machine conversion, tool change & PM to support production.
• Normal working over and support overtimes (ot) at all times as required.
• Ability to take instruction and adapt to changes instructed or given by superior.
• Maintain 5S for machine and working environment.
• Maintain machine and working environment ready for audit.
• Support improvement projects assigned by engineer.

Qualifications

• Having at least SKM level 3 certificate or Diploma qualification.
• Min 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance especially in Die Attach or Wire Bond areas.
• Min 5 years of experience in Back End manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical, sensors and electrical/electronics knowledge is preferred.
