Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the Drafters Department, ensuring drawings are accurate, updated, and aligned with production requirements.
• Propose, review, and approve engineering ideas and solutions to improve production efficiency, quality, and
• Ensure all production products comply with safety regulations, engineering standards, and approved technical drawings.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve technical issues promptly and minimize production delays.
• Review and validate drawings, design changes, and technical documentation before release to production.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Purchasing, to support manufacturing objectives.
• Establish and improve engineering workflows, drafting standards, and internal processes.
• Provide technical guidance and decision‑making support for complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure timely communication of design changes, engineering updates, and production feedback.
• Maintain engineering standards, templates, and calculation methods.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field).
• 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong experience leading a drafting or design team in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and engineering compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to translate engineering designs into practical, production‑ready solutions.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with production and operational teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
