Job summary

A leading technology firm in Klang City seeks an Engineer for Quality Assurance to ensure quality performance and customer satisfaction. The role involves tracking quality metrics, acting as the interface between customers and the factory, and resolving quality issues. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in engineering or business management and have familiarity with quality standards and problem-solving tools. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Quality / Customer Service / Engineering / Program Management preferred.
  • Familiar with quality field related knowledge.
  • Knowledge of reliability testing in environmental and mechanical contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform internal quality performance tracking end to end.
  • Act as main contact for customers and factory interactions.
  • Review and resolve quality issues with preventive measures.

Job description
Engineer – Quality Assurance / QA ( AQM) - Port Klang

Perform internal quality performance tracking from end to end (Material, SMT-PCBA, DIP, Final Assembly function test and Packing) from customer point of view.


Act as the main contact window between customers and the factory, deliver zero-defect and competitive products and services to customers.


Review and follow up until closure quality issues RCCA and 8D preventive measures.


Generate and issue RMA number for any DOA or repair requests by customer. Track the RMA process from end to end including document preparation, shipment, receiving, sorting, repair and return.


Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report of quality performance and improvement plans to customer.


Prepare RCCA, 5 Whys, 8D and other reports required by customer and follow up until issue closure.


KPI: Customer’s satisfaction, No major complaint from customer and QBR No.1


Job Requirement :-


Bachelor Degree /Diploma in Engineering / Business Management or any other related field


Experience in Quality / Customer Service / Engineering / Program Management field is preferred.


Familiar to quality field related knowledge, e.g. ISO9001:2015, Problem Solving, 7 Quality Tools, 8D report, MSA/GRR, PFMEA, Control Plan, Sampling Methodology, and have knowledge of reliability test at both environmental and mechanical related.


Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively with other function teams


Able to work in a team and individually


Able to work under the environment with fast tempo


Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaker is an added advantage
