Job summary

A leading construction company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to conduct site quality audits and ensure compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring action plans, reporting audit findings, and providing guidance on QA/QC systems. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering and have 2-3 years of related experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of experience in managing Quality Management System according to ISO9001:2008.
• Experience with Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of CONQUAS and/or QLASSIC is an advantage.

Job description

Conduct Site Quality Audit to check and ensure the compliance with Product Quality Standards and specification.

Liaise closely with project teams and relevant parties on the audit findings/major issues and its action plans.

Monitor and follow-up on the implementation of action plan by the project teams or relevant parties.

Report periodically on audit findings, NCR summary and analysis, and propose corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor on progress of work and conduct In-Process/Final Assessment to assess the quality levels of the construction projects.

Perform analysis and report on the assessment results and summary.

Prepare and conduct Quality Briefing to various project sites for quality awareness and training.

Provide guidance to project or site teams, on implementation and improvement of the QA/QC system and activities.

Review and improve the department’s system, SOP, forms etc. For continuous improvement.

Build good and professional working relationship with all departments and parties.

Job Requirement:

Diploma or Degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering/ Building Technology or its equivalent

2 - 3 year working experience in managing Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001:2008, Environmental Management System EMS14001:2004, Health and Safety Management System OHSAS18001:2007 in construction industry.

Knowledge and experience in CONQUAS and/or QLASSIC will be added advantage.

Good communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning and analytical skills.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficient in Microsoft office application, especially PowerPoint report presentation.
