Wentel Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is actively seeking individuals with your skillset to join our team as an Engineer (Mechanical).

5-day work (Monday - Friday)

Job Responsibilities

To organise and prioritise the variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.

Responsible for accurate BOM with proper routing, kitting, packing, and other information.

Identify and analyse problems, taking the initiative to implement improvements.

To work closely with the Operations team to develop a cost-effective and working production process for the new project.

Perform any other duties assigned by superiors when it is deemed necessary from time to time.

Plan, conceptualise, and create mechanical designs for new products.

Create and review technical drawings and specifications, and be able to design jigs and fixtures.

Drive for Process standardisation and improvement.

Contact with customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards for machinery and products are being met.

Performing the correct design through SolidWorks and calculating the correct tolerance for each process, such as (Bending, CNC and etc).

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience in the manufacturing engineering field, required.

Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

2-5 years of experience working in sheet metal fabrication manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Good at analysis with exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.

Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.

Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.

Project management experience, including developing project plans and timelines and tracking project progress.
