A leading semiconductor solutions company in Malacca is seeking a support specialist for data warehousing operations. You will provide critical support, ensure systems run efficiently, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL. Experience in data warehousing projects is a plus. This role includes a renewable 1-year contract under a third-party payroll partner and offers various benefits.

Job description

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Provide 2nd level support on PDWH for Backend / Frontend DWH, Global PDWH, Production Data Martsryn, iPRISM Operations globally
• Provide operational support for production data warehousing & BIA Solutions in the manufacturing domain
• Ensure the Local/Global Production Data Warehouse is running in a stable and high-performance level as per SLA
• Ensure that systems, processes, and methodologies as specified are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control, and support of service delivery
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations support area (e.g., automation of monitoring and internal controls) and control costs as per the budget
• Support in the development and release of change requests
• Support in documentation and written procedures for routine and ಜೊತೆ tasks
• Threaten in a rotating on-call schedule to provide critical support and resolve critical issues outside of standard working hours, requiring quick, effective action to minimize disruption

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any relevant course
• Knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle, and know-how in MS SQL Database
• Understanding of Data Warehousing / ETL techniques
• Good analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong in service support operations & experienced in ticketing tracking systems
• Good communication skills and a proactive team player
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in data warehousing projects is an added advantage
• Familiar with business processes in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry
