Job summary

About You

Role Purpose

To deliver accurate, timely, and compliant HR operational services across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle for the APAC region, ensuring data integrity, process compliance, and exceptional employee experience. You will actively contribute to the establishment, stabilization, and long-term sustainability of the APAC HR Shared Services Centre (HRSS).

This includes:

  • Supporting data cleansing following the recent Workday system migration and readiness for upcoming phases.
  • Driving knowledge management, ES process standardization, and First Time Right quality.
  • Managing end-to-end HR operational processes, including immigration-related tasks.

You will report to the Employee Success Operations Manager – APAC and work closely with colleagues within the Employee Success Team.

Key Responsibilities
Core HR Operations (95%)
  • Process and validate employee lifecycle transactions (new hire, transfers, promotions, terminations) in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct proactive data audits and cleansing to maintain 100% data integrity across APAC.
  • Manage document generation (contracts, letters, certificates) aligned with templates and statutory requirements.
  • Administer benefits enrolment, changes, and terminations per country-specific policies and vendor SLAs.
  • Handle payroll-impacting data changes and coordinate with Payroll teams for accurate monthly processing.
  • Execute statutory compliance activities (contributions reporting, tax documentation, audit preparation).
  • Serve as Tier 1 escalation point for employee queries from Helpdesk, ensuring SLA adherence and positive employee experience.
  • Identify recurring issues, propose process improvements, and collaborate with COEs to resolve root causes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data privacy laws.
System & Process Support
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation for Workday go-live phases.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and feedback loops for system/process readiness.
  • Document new SOPs and update ES knowledge base for standardization and scalability.
Immigration Support
  • Assist in employment pass (EP) and professional visit pass (PVP) application processes.
  • Support quota checks, vendor coordination, and document collection for immigration cases.
  • Ensure compliance with local immigration regulations.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
  • Contribute to HR process optimization initiatives for operational efficiency.
  • Support governance and compliance reporting for audit readiness.
  • Participate in cross-functional HRSS projects as required.
Skills & Experience
  • 2–3 years HR operations experience in shared services or multinational environment, with exposure to multiple APAC countries.
  • Knowledge of process migration and HRSS setup, including UAT, SOP drafting, and workflow mapping.
  • Strong service orientation with ability to meet or exceed SLAs.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across diverse cultures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential employee data.
  • Proven experience in data migration, process documentation, and HR systems UAT.
  • Exposure to immigration processes (EP, PVP) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage conflict and communicate effectively with employees and leaders.
