A technology solutions provider in Penang is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, code, and test firmware based on product specifications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in C/C++ and Mandarin is crucial for collaboration with international partners. This role involves troubleshooting, technical document preparation, and cross-functional teamwork for product development.

Qualifications

Overview

Understanding of design specifications and determination of design concept.

Responsible for designing, coding and testing of embedded software/ firmware based on product specifications and requirements

Perform troubleshooting and debugging to ensure functionalities and optimize performance.

Challenge status quo to continuously improve software capabilities, approaches and processes.

Participate in design reviews to ensure quality design output.

Education & Experience

• Candidates must possess at least aBachelor\'s Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years relevant experience needed for senior possition.
• Fresh graduate that have exposure in embedded software/ firmware programming are welcome to apply for junior possition.

Abilities & Skills

• Must possess programming language such as C and C++ Language
• Knowledge in bluetooth and wifi protocol will be an added advantage.
• Sufficient knowledge of reading schematics and components' datasheets.
• Able to work independently and have good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Candidates must be able to read, speak and write in mandarin as he/she needs to work closely with China IoT Developer Service Provider.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Perai, Penang.
