Qualifications

Job description

• Develop, implement and document preventive maintenance system(s) for equipment under area of responsibility.
• Organize the maintenance activity and maintain at all time the Substation, electrical & instrument installation such as electrical motors, switchboards, control system, process control devices etc. and diagnostic equipment, in conjunction with instrument and mechanical maintenance staff to ensure maximum in-house maintenance and repair capability to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform machine trouble-shooting and rectification.
• Responsible for coordinating and safely leading a team of Technicians who will carry out the maintenance of all electrical/ instrument equipment.
• To adhere to Environment, Health & Safety regulations and requirements at all times.
• Able to support site installation coordinating/ Project management (overview project).
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties designated by Superior or the Management as and when required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent.
• Program Logic Controller (Siemens)
• Required skill(s): plc programming, control wiring design and installation, project management, schematic drawings.
• At least with 3 years of working experience in similar field.
• Have a good knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and applications.
• Good analytical skills: specification, process, capacity, cost and quality tool.
• Self-motivated with the ability to originate and adapt to new ideas.
• Able to work without supervision.
• Capable of supervising the execution of electrical works & installations.
