Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
  • Familiar with Malaysian safety standards and electrical regulations.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and instrumentation devices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead troubleshooting on electrical, instrument, and control systems.
  • Ensure inspections of all electrical facilities equipment.
  • Perform modifications and upgrades to control systems for efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems faults.
  • Liaise with third parties for electrical work.
  • Engage in energy saving activities.
  • Support commissioning and startup of new equipment.
  • Perform thermal imaging on electrical systems.
  • Plan and supervise plant shutdown activities.

Your Tasks
  • Perform and lead the troubleshooting works on the machines electrical, instrument and control systems. As well as electrical facilities equipment when needed
  • Ensure routines and yearly checking and inspection to all electrical facilities equipment are functioning in a correctly in a safe manner.
  • Perform modification and upgrading work for the machines instrumentation and control system in order to bring the machine operation and increase its efficiencies and safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems faults to minimize downtime.
  • Engaging and liaise with the third party for performing related electrical work.
  • Participate and Perform energy saving activities to increase the efficiency of energy consumption for overall plant.
  • Support commissioning and startup of new equipment and plant expansions when required.
  • Perform thermal imaging (hotspot detention) on all electrical systems
  • Plan and supervisor plant shutdown activities
Qualification(s)
  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Mechatronic
  • At least 1 year of experience in related filed
  • Familiar with Malaysian safety standards and electrical regulations
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting control systems and instrumentation devices
