Overview Of Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems in projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements. This role supports project execution by providing technical expertise, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring the timely delivery of electrical engineering work.
Key Responsibilities And Work Assignments
- Design & Planning
- Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design.
- Ensure designs meet project, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Project Implementation
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions on-site.
- Quality & Safety Assurance
- Ensure electrical works comply with safety standards and codes.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems.
- Implement corrective actions to address non-compliance.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date records of electrical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Provide progress reports to the Engineering Manager.
- Support technical submissions and approvals.
- Continuous Improvement
- Research new technologies and industry practices.
- Recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Participate in training and professional development.
Authority
- Approve technical drawings and calculations within assigned scope.
- Verify electrical installations before handover.
- Recommend procurement of electrical equipment and materials.

Appointment Qualifications
Educational Level: Full-time undergraduate degree or above
Profession: Electrical Engineering or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or industrial projects
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage.
