Job summary

A leading global snack company is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Kapar, Malaysia, to ensure high reliability and efficiency of electrical systems across production areas. You will be responsible for maintaining PLCs and power distribution systems, implementing improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have 3–5 years of experience, particularly in the FMCG or food manufacturing sector. This role contributes significantly to smooth plant operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Omron PLC programming.
• Capability in troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Modify and optimize PLC logic and HMI interfaces.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for electrical equipment.

VFD/servo drive systems

Energy monitoring systems

Education
