Responsibilities
- Develop electrical assemblies for high‑purity processing systems, coordinating closely with mechanical, software, and control engineering groups.
- Select and size electrical components to meet technical and system‑level requirements.
- Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and related documentation to support design and manufacturing.
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to validate design decisions.
- Engage with external suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure components and assemblies comply with engineering specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and support ongoing improvements to engineering documents and system proposals.
- Manage projects from initial concept to final release, ensuring adherence to quality and schedule targets.
- Diagnose electrical issues through hands‑on investigation or remote troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance to production teams on electrical panel builds and address documentation‑related questions.
- Carry out additional tasks as required to support team objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret and evaluate data.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks or similar) and 2D drafting tools.
- Experience with industrial equipment design, preferably in capital equipment or process‑related systems.
- Familiarity with control panel design involving both low‑ and high‑voltage applications.
- Knowledge of electrical standards and codes (e.g., UL, SEMI, IEC, NFPA).
- Experience using ERP systems for BOM management, routing, and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency with MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
- Experience in structured product development methodologies (e.g., stage‑gate processes).
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail, with strong decision‑making capabilities.
- Comfortable working with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Adaptable and capable of operating in situations with incomplete information.
