Job description

As part of our continued growth and robust expansion plan - including the opening of new Epsom Colleges across Asia - we are seeking talented and passionate teachers to be part of our community in August 2026.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching Economics, preferably with Business Studies or Accounting (or any two combination of subjects mentioned), throughout KS4 to A-Level.

For experienced candidates, there is a potential opportunity to be appointed as the Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Economics lessons to KS4 and KS5 students, following the CIE IGCSE and A-Level syllabus.
  • Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine love for Economics in a stimulating classroom environment.
  • Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Track and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Participate fully in the wider academic, co-curricular, and pastoral life of the College.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A degree either in Economics, Business Studies, Accounting or a related discipline is required; a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience teaching at KS4 and KS5 within the British or international school system.
  • An understanding of the CIE syllabus at both IGCSE and A-Level would be an advantage.
  • The ability to teach Business at KS4 and/or KS5 would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to student-centred learning.
  • A collaborative and positive approach to teaching and professional development.
  • Being able to offer BTEC Business at Level 2 would be an advantage.
