  • The Aircraft Service Duty Supervisor is responsible for the efficient use of resources to ensure operational performance. He is responsible to promote and deliver safe, timely and efficient ground handling services including operating all ground equipment to our contractual customer airlines.
  • This is to be carried out in accordance with AeroDarat, regulatory department and customer airlines policies, standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreement (SLA). At all times, this position is required to work in a safe, secure, professional, cost effective manner whilst ensuring all assets are handled with care.
  • The Duty Supervisor Aircraft Services will represent the Duty Manager Aircraft Services for 24 hours operations, during his absence.
Key Accountabilities

AIRCRAFT SERVICES

  • Deliver a high standard of safety culture while operating all ground equipment at all times. Ensure ground equipment are serviceable and safe to operate meet the requirements of AeroDarat and customer airlines safety standards.
  • Build strong working relationships with key company stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain a positive organizational image and good community relations.
  • Report to your Duty Manager and/or station head in a timely manner on any issues or activities likely to influence AeroDarat operations or relations with airlines customers (safety, security and operational related issues).

OPERATIONAL

  • Proficient and knowledgeable in all AeroDarat and contracted customer airlines standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Aware of the importance in achieving on-time performance goals in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Work in a productive, pro-activete environment with management and customer service staff to deliver an efficient turnaround at the airport.
  • Ensure timely completion of Aircraft Services activities for each flight.

WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Continuously adhere to and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the obligations detailed in the Work place Health and Safety Act and AeroDarat policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and secure operation within the airside environment by complying with all procedures
  • Comply and practice SMS culture by ensuring that all actions are in line with relevant regulations and SOPs.
  • Comply with induction and training of AeroDarat Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Qualification & Working Experience
  • Tertiary education (STPM/Diploma/Degree/Professional qualifications) in any field of study or its equivalent from recognized institutions with at least 5 years working experience in aviation field or SPM with minimum 5 years working experience in aviation field.
  • Required to attend all regulatory and mandatory training as per AeroDarat Training Manual (TGM).
  • Required to have valid class "D" Malaysian Driving License if applying for ADP.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledgeable in aircraft services operation and basic aircraft technical knowledge.
  • Good command of writing and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Knowledge in MS Office application and PC literate.
