Job description

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in Drafter AutoCAD.

Job Description

1. Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) equipment to develop designs, create and revise production drawings (Tender, Construction, SHOP, Coordination, As-Built drawings, etc.).
2. Coordinates with engineers for drawing updates and modifications.
3. Understands drawing specifications and written instructions to revise drawings accordingly.
4. Assists in material take-offs during tendering, construction, and as-built documentation.
5. Visits sites for as-built drawings, prepares and reviews sketches with the project team.
6. Uses Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools to develop and revise designs and drawings.
7. Participates in coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors, preparing necessary drawings.
8. Familiar with electrical and instrumentation installation details and limitations.
9. Ensures safety during job design and execution.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical installation.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Competency Requirements

• Excellent skills in AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Revit (3D).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Navisworks Freedom 3D Model.
