Job summary

A logistics solution provider in Klang City seeks a detail-oriented professional to prepare and process shipping documents. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with import/export regulations, have experience in freight forwarding, and possess strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include maintaining records of shipments and coordinating with various parties to ensure smooth cargo movement. This role offers regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have SPM; a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping documentation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping procedures is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with import and export regulations.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and related documentation.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to shipping documentation.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have at least SPM; a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping documentation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
  • Willing to work at Taman Bayu Perdana, Klang.
