Document Control Center Specialist (DCC Specialist)
Responsible for the creation, distribution, archiving, updating, and obsolescence management of corporate documents, ensuring controlled documentation, accurate versioning, and traceable information to support the QMS and daily operations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in document control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Formal training in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 (priority).
- Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of data accuracy, confidentiality, and document integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g. PDM / PLM).
- Strong teamwork spirit with coordination, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the numbering, release, revision, and obsolescence of system documents, technical drawings, and process specifications.
- Maintain electronic and physical document archiving systems to ensure document security, integrity, and easy retrievability.
- Monitor document change requests, coordinate review and approval workflows, and update document distribution matrices accordingly.
- Ensure only the latest approved versions of documents are in use and promptly retrieve and control obsolete documents.
- Provide document evidence and records for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable system standards.
- Perform regular backups of critical documents and support the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
- Assist departments in standardizing document formats, templates, and naming conventions.
- Conduct training for employees on document control procedures to enhance compliance and system awareness.
