Dispatching/Scheduling Automation Engineer/ Developer (Manufacturing IT) (Start ASAP)
Bosch Malaysia seeks a Dispatching/Scheduling Automation Engineer/Developer to enhance semiconductor manufacturing through advanced software solutions.
Your role
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the APF (Advance Productivity Family) software suite to improve design, analysis, and operation of manufacturing facilities.
- Develop, configure, and maintain APF Formatter logic for data normalization, feature extraction, and transformation across multiple tools and processes.
- Design and implement APF Activity Manager workflows to automate control strategies and data processing routines.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, IT, and MES teams to integrate tool, metrology, and MES data streams.
- Create and maintain robust trigger conditions and activity dependencies for high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Optimize APF applications for performance, reliability, and scalability in high-throughput fab settings.
- Troubleshoot APF-related issues and provide long-term solutions through root cause analysis and system tuning.
- Author technical documentation, configuration guides, and provide training to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and estimate KPIs within interdisciplinary teams.

- Very good understanding of complex IT architecture.
- Experience working with big data.
- Previous experience in information technologies is an advantage; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Enjoy working with interdisciplinary international teams.
- Good communication skills and immediate understanding of complex coherences.
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary thinking and interest in leading-edge semiconductor technology.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable IT studies.
